Kinetiq’s points-based rewards program, known as kPoints, is currently active, with Season 2 having launched on November 13, 2025. Users can earn kPoints by staking HYPE tokens through Kinetiq to receive kHYPE liquid staking tokens, swapping into vkHYPE, or trading perpetuals on Kinetiq’s HIP-3 exchange markets.
Kinetiq distributes 800,000 kPoints every Thursday, while snapshots are taken weekly on Tuesdays. The final snapshot is scheduled for September 29, 2026, followed by the final rewards distribution on October 1, 2026. The protocol has already allocated 25% of the total KNTQ supply directly to Hyperliquid users, including 24% for kPoints holders and 1% for Hypurr holders. Additionally, 30% of the total KNTQ supply has been reserved for protocol growth and rewards, which is expected to be distributed to kPoints participants in October 2026.
