Solana Mobile has announced the $SKR token airdrop to support the rollout of its Solana Mobile ecosystem, which includes mobile hardware, a decentralized dApp distribution model, and on-device Web3 integrations. The airdrop primarily targets early Solana Mobile users and contributors, with $SKR serving as the governance and incentive token powering ecosystem participation.
$SKR serves as the governance and incentive token for Solana Mobile, enabling participation in ecosystem decisions and delegation to network guardians. A total of 30% of the fixed 10 billion SKR supply is reserved for airdrops and will unlock at the token generation event (TGE) scheduled for January 21, 2026.
